Dr. Madhi Hasan (Chairman)
Dr. Madhi Hasan obtained Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 1997. He later graduated with Master of Political Science from the National University of Malaysia and Doctor of Philosophy (Social Science) from the University of Selangor.
Dr. Madhi is a lawyer and has been in legal practice since 2000. He was the Chairman of a Perak State government-linked company and a Board Member of Perak Foundation. He is currently a Fellow at the Institute of Electoral Studies and Advancement of Democracy, University of Selangor.
Mohd Azmi Mat Nayan (CEO)
Mohd Azmi Mat Nayan is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Madani Research Centre, where he leads strategic initiatives to support Malaysia’s MADANI framework, promoting socio-economic development and sustainability. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), his career spans diverse sectors including corporate restructuring, financial planning, hospitality, retail, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Azmi is actively involved in philanthropic efforts, having led CSR initiatives through Yayasan Aman and Yayasan Ismail, focusing on education, healthcare, and community development for underprivileged groups. His expertise lies in capital markets, business development, and corporate leadership.
Mohd Asri Musa (Director)
Mr. Mohd Asri Musa is the Director of the Madani Research Centre and holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia, graduating in 1997 and 1998. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in May 1999 and began his legal career as a legal assistant at Mohamed Hanipa & Associates in Kuala Lumpur, later joining Idris & Partners in Selangor.
In March 2000, he founded Asri Musa & Co. where he serves as the managing partner. With extensive expertise in corporate law and property conveyancing, Mr. Mohd Asri Musa remains actively involved in legal practice while leading the Madani Research Centre.
Shaharool Nizam Mohd Kassim (Director)
Shaharool Nizam Mohd Kassim is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in corporate law, business strategy, and investment advisory. He founded Messrs Shaharool Nizam & Co. and has led major corporate projects, including joint ventures with KLCC (Holdings) Berhad and QD Asia Pacific Ltd. He also serves as Chairman of Primadata Holdings and Executive Chairman of Massive Benchmark Sdn. Bhd., providing strategic guidance to international investors.
Beyond business, he has contributed to public service as a Ta’dib International Foundation Advisory Board member and now leads Madani Research Centre as its Director, driving research and advocacy in line with Malaysia MADANI principles
